Teams up with Pond5 For Media Asset Collaboration

Pond5 is rapidly becoming the go to location for finding and licensing stock video, music and sound effects for use in post production workflows. is now in league with the stock media company to offer access with an added element … collaboration.

If you work with stock footage, you know that finding the right shot your teammates all agree on can be time-consuming. And the path to approval is filled with endless email threads, scattered links, and long periods of feedback paralysis. Through’s collaborative central hub, teams can now search through Pond5’s massive collection of 8 million HD and 4K clips, 12 million stock images, 500,000 music tracks and sound effects. Users can then try each out, reviewing them with frame specific comments, then approving and purchasing them. Then, the assets can be downloaded, complete with comments and annotations directly timestamped on the assets for later referral.

This will reduces the time it takes to approve stock assets and give users a complete catalog of commentary with which to stay on the same page throughout the post production process. Then, once purchased and downloaded, the assets can then be transferred to Adobe Premiere Pro CC in two simple clicks along with any notes that have been generated.
