A new Media 100 tutorial

Now that you know how to create, save and name your bins in Media 100, let’s talk about getting them to look exactly the way that you need them to look.
By default, your clips are probably laid out in the smallest thumbnail view, which for me, is not how I like to work. I prefer working in list view, but if you prefer working in thumbnail view, but don’t like the size of the thumbnails, you can change them, and switch to List view, simply by right clicking in the bin window, and selecting either the larger thumbnail, or List view.
Once in List view, you’ll notice that you have certain information columns in List view that can be very helpful, but they aren’t the only information you have access to.
If you right click on the bin window again, and this time select “View Settings,” now you have access to even more parameters/informtion, to really tailor your bin view, exactly as you need it to be.
One thing that I also like is that if you want to keep the poster frames on the left side of your Bin View, you can even adjust the size of them, right from inside of the “View Settings” window, this way you can get them the optimal size you need them, for the size of monitor you’re working with.
