User groups were at the heart of the personal computer revolution – but where are they now? What makes a user group successful? What are the challenges in running such a group?
The Los Angeles Creative Pro User Group celebrated their 18th birthday last week with a look back at the origins of digital media. Mike Horton is the head of the LACPUG and we sat down for a fascinating conversation back to our beginnings. Then we expand out to how users groups are thriving in Chicago and around the world!
Guests include Michael Horton, Sue Lawson, Wendy Woodhall, and Carey Dissmore. And, as always, doddleNEWS Editor in Chief James DeRuvo swings by with his weekly doddleNEWS update.
