Last week on The Digital Production Buzz Podcast, Larry Jordan sat down with Brendan Carr, the latest member of the FCC Commission, which recently voted to upend Obama era Net Neutrality rules.
In the extended interview, Larry and FCC Commissioner Carr discussed:
- The FCC’s reasons for revisiting net neutrality
- Why they felt they needed to change it
- How they dealt with more than 21 MILLION public comments – about 19.5 mllion of which were fake
- What it will take to make the rule official
- What happens after that
Carr was a solid guest who gave straight-forward answers to the questions on everyone’s mind now that the Internet is once again free from government regulation. In addition, Larry was joined by entertainment attorney Jonathan Handel, and regular Philip Hodgetts with their take on ow the decision was reached to deregulate the internet and where things goes from here.
It’s a great show. Check it out here.
